Hey,

So, if I would like to Jam with a bunch of other skaters (inspiration and all that), where would I go?

Is WSA summer nationals the only big event for Jamskating now? Is there no Winter Nationals? I drove up from Canada for Christmas In Chicago (CiC) a few years ago, and that was great fun, is anyone holding any non-competition events like that anymore?

Ahh, more searching helped me find http://www.jamskatingonline.com/ and http://www.myspace.com/ujsta which has Winter Nationals info - I forgot there are two separate Jamskate organizations.

I know for a fact that when vanilla is going around it's not a "competition" Just hangin with other skaters. See if you can go to one of there events. Thats what your looking for.

I will be setting up some events in the midwest after the new year. Some Jam Camps, local competitions, bashes, etc.

I noticed you said you drove from Canada. I am from Wisconsin and I will actually be setting up alot of these events with the rinks in Wisconsin. If you're interested let me know and I can keep you posted.
